Achieving the above result does not automatically grant you a spot in the national team or selection for overseas competition. The selection committee reserves the rights to make the final decision.
Qualification events: Local and overseas competition supported by SWF and/or IWF.
Athletes have a one-year window from their last qualifying performance to maintain their position in the team. If minimum performance is not met within a year, the athlete will be removed from the team1. This means continued qualification is necessary to stay on the team.
Responsibilities
Train at SWF training centre together as a team once a week1, 4 weeks prior to international competition
Adhere to the policies and instructions stated in the SWF athlete’s agreement
Ensure full commitment to events2, courses and workshops organised and supported by SWF
Be at their best conduct at all times, locally and internationally
1 If unable to meet the minimum requirements due to valid reasons, special considerations will be evaluated by the selection committee.
2 Volunteering for SWI, SNWC and community outreach programmes.
